Most horrific experience of my life. My dog had surgery there and experienced complications. I knew something wasn't right and took him in around 10pm. Dr. Mosson assessed him and said he was fine (did not do any testing). At 2am I called Dr. Mosson in a full panic and told him my dog was dying. He was clearly irritated that I was calling him again and told me to go to Ocean View Vet (further from my home) He said I would get to Ocean View before he could get to the Parkway office. Public record shows he actually lived closer to the Parkway office than I did and could have beat me there. My dog died in my arms that night on the way to Ocean View. I was 5 months pregnant at the time. Dr. Mosson never called me the next day to ask what happened, or offer condolences when Ocean View sent the report to their office. I now use Oceanview Veterinary Hospital as they are open 24/7 and better equipped to handle emergencies and surgery aftercare.
Very happy with the care I received! First time I have been to this Vet and they were completely accommodating to squeeze my dog in for an urgent visit. They followed up with my vet from home in order to get the appropriate records to ensure all bases were covered and to inform the treatment. The process was efficient and the staff was super friendly. I was also very impressed with the cost!
How many other people have you charged for items that are included in the program? People who aren't as aware, or people who actually bought your pitch without a second thought?
Never again.
That's a very shady business model...and if I could rate it negative 5 stars, I would.
I want to thank Dr Hirsch and his staff for being there for me when I needed them. Dr Hirsch was so professional and caring during this time. They made this as easy as possible on me.
But..it got me thinking.
Thank you Parkway for me being there for me when I needed you most.
Took my dog in for his neutering via a free program for Pitbull breeds, and was charged $55 for "pain management", when I shouldn't have been, as it's included in the FREE program. I called the shelter in charge of the program, and am going to be refunded for it.
I recently had to send my Hobbes to heaven and Parkway vet was there to help me get through this difficult time. My dog has always gone to Parkway and I've always felt comfortable with the doctors and staff there.
They are great every time we go! Very friendly and truly care about you and your pet!
Double dipping on a program funded purely by donations is absolutely terrible.
