Got to the store near closing. All I needed was a paper towel holder ( something Depot has a very limited selection of) Jada was great she found one of the two they had in stock and I was off and running.
Always helpful staff. Love that home depot has everyone working here ... young, older, able disabled. Also glad to see they still support boy scout projects. It really is America's store. Really, really nice looking Christmas decorations. Must stop self from buying too many as they are so tempting!
Best carpet experience; hands down! Mary Ann in the flooring department went over and above the call of duty. When our carpet wasn't going to be available to satisfy their 3 day installation guarantee I went wild.....I was so upset since it's a rental property and we had destroyed the carpet due to construction. Mary Ann helped me cope, she assured me that she'd have a temporary installation scheduled with a similar carpet (even giving me a choice of colors!); she made good by having a carpet installed in time for our first guests! Then, when my carpet came in, she rescheduled the install. Thank you Mary Ann!!!
My experience with the Home Depot was so bad, I will never buy anything from them again. I ordered a bathroom vanity on line. When it arrived it was damaged. The whole vanity top was cracked. They could not replace it for 6 weeks, so I requested a refund. They never came to pick it up. It sat in my driveway for a month. I called customer service four times and each time they assured me it would be returned but to no avail. Finally, I insisted that the Rio Grande store pick it up and they did, BUT i never received a refund. This has been since May and still no refund. Please save yourself a lot of grief and order from Lowes instead.
Poor customer service. Went in to purchase a high end storm door. Person in front of me waiting, person came after me and no associate in sight. I went to see if someone could help. They called store manager and he said he'd be over. We waited and waited. Guy before me left. Associate finally comes over, says no one can help us for another 15 minutes until the guy comes back from dinner. We left. There are plenty of other stores to purchase the door at and have it installed. We won't be back any time soon.
