Whalen's Auto Repair is awesome. I was in Avalon for a wedding over the weekend and my car died. The owner, Ed, was extremely friendly and helpful. They diagnosed that my starter had gone bad. They ordered the part and had me back on the road in no time. Beth, their service advisor, kept me informed of the progress on my car throughout, and Phil, their lead technician, did a complete and thorough job installing the new starter. I'm from out of town, but I can say with great confidence that if you live in the local community, you have a reliable, trusted business where you will always be treated right.
The people were kind and took me in immediately, I was passing through from California and had a tire loosing air, I can tell you that this is a top notch shop. I know because I own Kiwis Auto Repair in Santa Barbara, California. And being an auto repair shop owner, I am critical of other shops, this is a good one, my grand mother lives here year round and I will make sure she only goes to this shop.
